Qualification and Experience:
1. Senior Project Scientist (SPS): Candidate(s) holding PhD degree + 3 yrs’ exp. OR Masters degree + 6-10 yrs’ exp. in Physics/Chemistry. Extensive experience in clean room operation, micro/nano fabrication and characterization technologies. Experience and expertise in the following areas is mandatory.
Clean Room operation & Safety.
Photolithography, Mask Aligner, E-beam Lithography.
Deposition, Etching.
Microscopy – SEM, AFM, TEM.
Experience in CMOS, MEMS/NEMS device fabrication.
Experience in project management, report preparation, Purchase and patent filing procedure.
Scientific training and administrative background.
2. Project Scientist (PS): PhD degree OR M.Sc. + 6 yrs’ exp. in Physics/Chemistry. Extensive experience in nanotechnology/
biotechnology/ chemistry/semiconductor nanomaterials/carbon nanoparticles and composites and independent operation skills of
various spectroscopic and microscopic equipment such as SEM, TEM, AFM is mandatory.
Preferred experience:
Laboratory setup, management and training; preparation of standard operating procedures
Clean Room operation & Safety
Micro/nano electrochemical device fabrication and characterization technologies
Deposition, Etching
Computational modelling of materials.
3. Asso. Project Scientist (Asso. PS): M.Sc. + 3 yrs’ exp. in Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology.
Preferred experience:
Experience in the areas of nanotechnology.
Laboratory setup, training onstandard operating procedures.
Experience on micro/nano fabrication or characterization.
Computational modelling of materials.
4. Project Engineer (PE): PhD degree OR Master’s degree +3 yrs’ exp OR Bachelor’s degree + 6 yrs’ exp in Mechanical/Chemical/Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering. Extensive experience in nanobiochemistry/semiconductor nanomaterials/carbon nanoparticles and composites and independent operation of spectroscopic
(IR, UV-vis,X-ray etc.) and microscopic techniques (SEM, TEM, AFM) is mandatory.
Preferred experience:
Laboratory setup, management and training; preparation of standard operating procedures
Clean Room operation & Safety.
Micro/nano electrochemical device fabrication and characterization technologies.
Deposition, Etching.
Computational modeling of materials
5. Associate Project Engineer (Asso. PE): Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering +3 yrs’ exp. Candidate with
Mechanical/Chemical/Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering background are preferred. Experience in handling
sophisticated analytical equipments is also desirable.
6. Assistant Project Engineer (Asst. PE): Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Chemical/ Computer Science/Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred experience:
Clear concepts in the fundamental areas of nanotechnology.
Experimental Project in Laboratory.
Experience on micro/nano fabrication or characterization.
Computational skills for modeling.
7. Office Attendant: Qualification and Experience: M. Com. with minimum 4 years of working experience in the field of accounting and having experience in the following areas are preferred:
(i) Knowledge of MS Office
(ii) Basic data entry on Computers
(iii)Account maintenance, Preparation of Utilization certificate, legal aspects etc.
Pay scale:
1. SPS : Rs.23,000/- + 20% HRA+MA as per institute rule
2. PS : Rs.19,000/- + 20% HRA+MA as per institute rule
3. Asso. PS : Rs.15,000/- + 20% HRA+MA as per institute rule
4. PE : Rs.23,000/- + 20% HRA+MA as per institute rule
5. Asso. PE : Rs.19000/- + 20% HRA+MA as per institute rule
6. Asst. PE : Rs.15,000/- + 20% HRA+MA as per institute rule
7. Office Attendant: 15000/- + 20% HRA + Medical Allowance as per Institute norms
