Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 – Check ADRE Grade III Vacancy Details
The Government of Assam has released two significant employment notifications under the Assam Direct Recruitment 2023. Aimed at filling 12,600 vacancies in Grade III and Grade IV positions, this recruitment process is conducted by the newly constituted Assam Direct Recruitment Commission. These vacancies will be filled according to the recruitment rules specified under the Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022.

Educational Qualification for Assam Direct Recruitment 2023
Grade IV (Class-IV)
- Up to Class VIII: 1,950 posts
- HSLC or Equivalent Passed: 1,060 posts
- HSLC with ITI: 1,990 posts
- Maximum Qualification: HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent. Candidates with qualifications higher than HSSLC are not eligible.
Grade III (Category I)
- Bachelor’s Degree with/without a 6-month Computer Certificate/Diploma.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Stenography Certificate from a recognized institute.
Grade III (Category II)
- HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent passed. (Some specific posts require candidates with a Science background.)
Grade III (Category III) – Driver
- HSLC or Equivalent with a valid LMV Driving Licence.
- No of Posts: 418
Other Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as of 1st January 2023.
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Employment Exchange Registration: Must be registered with an Employment Exchange in Assam.
- Working Candidates: Government employees must submit an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their respective departments.
Application Fee for ADRE 2023
This year, there is no application fee required for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination.
