Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Assam Asset, Nazira has announced a golden opportunity for students aspiring to build a career in the medical field. Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CER Initiative), ONGC is conducting a Walk-in Interview cum Selection process for admission into D.Pharm, GNM, and ANM courses for the academic session 2025.

This recruitment/admission drive is specifically targeted at candidates from the Tea Garden Labour (TGL) and Ex-Tea Garden Labour (Ex-TGL) communities residing in Sivasagar and Charaideo districts.

If you have appeared for the relevant entrance exams conducted by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), you are eligible to participate. The selection process is scheduled between 16th December and 18th December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria by Course

To ensure a smooth selection process, candidates must strictly adhere to the eligibility criteria set by ONGC and SSUHS.

1. D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy)

  • Entrance Exam: Candidate must have a valid score in the Pharmacy Entrance Exam (PEE) 2025 conducted by SSUHS.
  • Education: Passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Mathematics (PCM) along with English.
  • Minimum Marks: Must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate (No grace marks allowed).
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years as of 31st December 2025.
  • Cut-off Score: 15th Percentile (31 Marks) for TGL/Ex-TGL candidates.
  • Total Seats: 15

2. GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

  • Gender: For Female Candidates Only.
  • Entrance Exam: Must have appeared in the GNM Entrance Exam 2025 (GNMEE) conducted by SSUHS.
  • Education: Passed 10+2 with English and must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate and in English individually. (Science stream preferred).
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years as of 31st December 2025.
  • Cut-off Score: 15th Percentile (28 Marks) for TGL/Ex-TGL candidates.
  • Total Seats: 10

3. ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery)

  • Gender: For Female Candidates Only.
  • Education: Passed 10+2 in any stream (Arts/Science/Commerce) with a minimum of 40% marks.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years and Maximum 35 years as of 31st December 2025.
  • Total Seats: 10

Important Constraints & Reservation

Candidates must note that this admission drive is NOT open to all. It is a specialized drive with specific constraints:

  1. Geography: Candidates must be permanent residents of Sivasagar or Charaideo districts.
  2. Community: Only candidates belonging to the TGL (Tea Garden Labour) or Ex-TGL community are eligible.
  3. Economic Status: Candidates must belong to the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) or BPL (Below Poverty Line) category.

Required Documents for Verification

Candidates must bring the original documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies to the interview venue. Failure to produce original documents will lead to disqualification.

  • Entrance Exam Score Card: PEE 2025 or GNMEE 2025 Result Sheet.
