Assam Police Constable PET/ PST Exam Postponed Due To Coronavirus: Assam Police has postponed the Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test (PST & PET) for the recruitment of 6662 Constables in Assam Police in certain districts due to global outbreak of Covid-19 or Corona-Virus .
A notification has been released in this regard. This notification has refereed to the recruitment of 2391 posts of Constables (UB) & 4271 posts of Constable (AB) in Assam Police against the advertisement issued on 25-04-2018 & Notice / Addendum issued on 19-12-2019.

The notification reads as follows:
The Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test (PST & PET) scheduled to be held in Dima Hasao, South Salmara & West Karbi Anglong (Hamren) districts w.e-f. 02-04-2020 have been postponed as preventive measures to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
However, PST /PET of 10 districts starting from 21-04-2020 will be held as scheduled.
The new schedule for the above three districts will be uploaded in SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in) soon.
