To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Retired Officers of the rank of Senior Financial Adviser or equivalent of Assam Finance Service.
• Past service experience in Assam Accounts Service will be advantageous.
• Remuneration: Rs. 48,715.00 per month

Responsibilities of the Chief Accounts Officer

As the Chief Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

1. Budget Estimation: Prepare budget estimates to ensure efficient financial planning.
2. Bill Scrutiny: Thoroughly examine bills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
3. Expense Monitoring: Monitor expenses in line with budget estimates and regulations.
4. Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
5. Accounts Compilation: Compile monthly and quarterly accounts data for submission to relevant authorities.
6. Annual Accounts Preparation: Prepare annual accounts for audit purposes.
7. Audit Correspondence: Address audit objections and inspection reports until resolution.
8. General Accounting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
9. Additional Duties: Undertake any other duties assigned by the management.
