The Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) is a state-sponsored initiative aimed at providing one-time financial assistance to unemployed youths in Assam who meet the eligibility criteria. Eligibility Criteria

Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 28 years and 45 years as of 1st April 2024.

Educational Qualification: Minimum qualification of passing Class 10. Candidates from OBC, SC, and ST categories should have at least completed Class 10.

Skill Qualification: Candidates must possess skills necessary for income-generating activities (e.g., through ITI or Diploma programs).

Bank Account: Candidates must have a bank account that was opened before 1st April 2024.

Loan Defaults: Candidates should not have defaulted on any loans from Co-operative and Nationalized Banks.

Government Service: Candidates from families with government employees or pensioners are not eligible.

Family Limit: Only one member per family is eligible to apply. Applicants who benefited from CMAAA 1.0 are not eligible for CMAAA 2.0.

How to Apply for Atmanirbhar Assam 2025?

The application process for CMAAA 2.0 follows two phases:

Phase 1: Online Registration

  • Candidates must complete the online registration by providing basic details, including personal information and bank account details.
  • After the registration, the department will announce the application dates.

Phase 2: Online Application Submission

  • On the specified dates, candidates need to log in to the portal and submit their applications.
