Essential Qualification

A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following subjects:

• Geology
• Mathematics
• Geo-Informatics

• GIS
• Remote Sensing
• Geo-Informatics

OR

M.Tech / M.Sc. in:

• GIS & Remote Sensing
• Geo-Informatics

OR

M.C.A. / M.A. / M.Sc. in:

• Geology
• Mathematics
• Environmental Science

with GIS/Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics as one of the subjects or supported by a certificate/diploma in GIS or Remote Sensing.

Desirable Qualification

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Proficiency in ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Global Mapper or similar GIS software.
• Knowledge of GeoJSON, KML, Shape Files, and coordinate systems.
• Experience in drone survey and image processing.
• Knowledge of geospatial data analysis and visualization.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Previous GIS internship or project experience.

Experience

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant GIS work experience.
• RCCC-trained candidates with command over GIS applications.

However, fresh eligible candidates may also participate if they fulfill the essential qualifications.

• Drone image interpretation.
• Technical GIS support.
• Documentation of GIS workflows and processes.
• Supporting Revenue Circle offices in GIS-related work.
