The Directorate of Technical Education, Assam has announced the schedule for counselling and provisional admission into the 2nd Semester Diploma in Engineering and Technology courses for ITI students through Lateral Entry in State Government Polytechnics of Assam for the academic session 2025-26.

Key Details

• Admission Basis:
  Based on the Provisional Selected List issued by the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam (Ref: Letter No. 339921/1/880015/2025, dated 01.01.2025).
• Provisional Selected List Availability:
  Candidates can access the list at the official website: https://dte.assam.gov.in.

Documents Required for Counselling

Candidates must bring the following original documents and one set of photocopies:

1. Mark Sheet (ITI).
2. Pass Certificate (ITI).
3. Age Proof Certificate (10th Standard or equivalent examination admit card).
4. Caste/Category Certificate (Non-Creamy Layer certificate for OBC/MOBC candidates).
5. Permanent Residents Certificate (PRC) of Assam.
6. Counselling Fee: ₹250 (non-refundable) in cash.
7. Two recent passport-sized photographs.

Note: Eligibility for lateral entry admissions will be as per AICTE norms.
