DDMA Nalbari Recruitment 2024 – Field Officer Vacancy

District Disaster Management Authority, Nalbari is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the contractual engagement of 1 Field Officer (Disaster Management) under District Commissioner’s Office, Nalbari.

District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Nalbari Vacancy Details

• Name of Post: Field Officer (Disaster Management) for Revenue Circle
• Total Vacancy: 1 (One)

Essential Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or with Statistics, Geography, Environmental Science, or Geology as a subject, or diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture from a recognized university/institution.
• Age: 21 to 35 years as of January 1, 2024, relaxable for SC/ST candidates as per rules.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Internet usage/Emails. Candidates should possess a one-year diploma in Computer Application from Government Authorized Institutions (Preference given to candidates with BCA or equivalent course in Computer Science).

Duration of Contract:

• The contract will be for one year initially, up to 31/03/2024. Further extension based on performance and the decision of the competent authority.

Remuneration:

• Fixed remuneration of Rs 20,000 per month.

Interview Process (100 Marks):

• Marks obtained in Graduation/Diploma level exam: 50 marks.
• Knowledge of Disaster Management-related issues: 20 marks.
• Knowledge of Computer: 20 marks.
• Attitude & Personality Traits: 10 marks.

How to Apply:

• Interested candidates should submit their applications in the standard form along with a Bio-data and all necessary self-attested documents to the Disaster Management Branch, Office of the District Commissioner, Barama Road, Nalbari, Assam, PIN: 781335.
• Candidates must convert CGPA/OGPA into equivalent percentage in the bio data.
• No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.

Last Date for Application Submission: 19th February 2024 (5 PM)

• The appointment is on a contract basis, and no claims for regularization or further benefits will be entertained.
• Communication regarding shortlisted candidates and interview details will be displayed on the Nalbari district website (www.nalbari.assam.gov.in) and the notice board of the District Commissioner’s Office, Nalbari, after 19th February 2024. No separate call letters will be issued.
