Candidates must have:
- At least 50% marks (in aggregate) in Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
- OR a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology from Dibrugarh University or any recognized university with specialization in Science and Mathematics, with 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point.
- Note: Candidates with 50% or more in Honours/Major but less than 50% in aggregate in the Bachelor’s degree are not eligible.

Selection Criteria for Dibrugarh University B.Ed Admission
Selection for admission into the B.Ed. Programme in any institution under Dibrugarh University is based on:
- Common Entrance Test (CET): A centrally conducted test carrying a maximum of 70 marks.
- Career Performance: A maximum of 30 marks, calculated based on the percentage secured in HSLC, HS, Bachelor’s Degree, and/or Master’s Degree examinations.
- Career Performance Calculation: 10% of the percentage of marks secured in each of HSLC, HS, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree is considered. For example, if a candidate scores 53% in their Bachelor’s Degree (Major/Aggregate), their career performance score for that examination is 5.3 marks.
Candidates who clear the B.Ed. CET 2025 must apply for admission to their preferred institution. The institutions will select candidates based on their CET scores and career performance marks, with the latter awarded by the respective institutions.
