 Application are invited from Indian citizen in the prescribed standard form as published in Assam Gazette Part -IX from the intending candidates for filling up vacant posts as mentioned below under District Agril. Office, KKB Road, Jorhat – 785 001.        

Vacancy Details:
1. Peon
No. of post: 2(two) nos
Qualification: Calss VIII Standard pssed
Scale of Pay: 4560/- to 15000/- Grade pay 1500/- pm plus other allowances as admissible as per rueles.
2. Laboratory Keeper
No. of post: 01 no.
Qualification: Calss VIII Standard pssed
Scale of Pay: 4560/- to 15000/- Grade pay 1500/- pm plus other allowances as admissible as per rueles.
Age limit: Candidate must not less than 18 yrs. and not more than 38 yrs. as on 01 .01.2015. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 (five) yrs. in case of ST and SC as per Govt, rule in force.
Application fee: Application fee for Rs 50.00 (Rupees Fifty) only is to be paid through Indian Postal Order in favour of District Agricultural Officer, Jorhat payable at Jorhat along with the application.
Terms & condition
1.  Candidates /Applicants must be citizen of India as defined in articles 5 to 8 of the constitution of India.
2. Candidates serving in Govt, should submit their application through proper channel.
3. The last date of receipt of application is 28.12.2015 excluding holidays. No application will be entertained after the last date fixed.
4. Incomplete application will be rejected without giving any intimation to the candidates.
5. The application must be accompanied by the following documents.
a) Attested copies of pass certificate along with age, caste and domicile certificates etc.
b) Two copies of recent passport size photographs duly self attested.
6. Application may be submitted to the District Agril. Officer, Jorhat in person before last date fixed.
7. The candidates must produce their original testimonials for verification at the time of interview.
8. Pension Scheme:-Govt. servant joining in service of the State Govt, on or after 1st Feb’2005 shall not be governed by existing Assam Services (Pension) Rules ‘1969 and orders issued Their under from time to time, so far as their pension and other retirement benefits are concerned, that will be governed by a new set of pension rules which are being formulated in line with the Contributory Pension Scheme announced by the Govt, of India vide Finance Department Circular No.BW3/pt-lll/1 , dated 25.01.2005.
9 . No. TA/DA will be borne by the department for attending oral interview.
10. Department will not be responsible for any loss of application on transit.
11. No application will be received after expiry of the last date fixed.
12. Application without proper supporting document will summarily be rejected.
13. Date of oral interview will be hanged in the office notice board , DC’s office and Employment Exchange Office.
