Pay Scale: Rs. (5200-20200) +1800 GP

Age Limit:

(a) UR- 18 Yrs to 25 Yrs

(b)SC/ST- 18 Yrs to 30 Yrs

(c) ESM- Service rendered in Army/Navy/Air Force plus three years to be deducted from actual age and resultant age should be not exceed the maximum age limit i.e. Gen- 25 Yrs and SC&ST- 30 Yrs.

Qualification: 10th passed

2. Fireman

UR-01 post

Ex Surviceman (ST): 1 posts

Pay Scale: Rs. (5200-20200) +1900 GP

Age Limit:

(a) UR- 18 Yrs to 25 Yrs

(b)SC/ST- 18 Yrs to 30 Yrs

(c) ESM- Service rendered in Army/Navy/Air Force plus three years to be deducted from actual age and resultant age should be not exceed the maximum age limit i.e. Gen- 25 Yrs and SC&ST- 30 Yrs.

Physical standard:-

(i) Height without shoes – 165 Cms (Concession of 2.5 Cms for ST Candidate)

(ii) Chest (Un-expanded) – 81.5 Cms

(iii) Chest (On expansion) – 85 Cms

(iv) Weight – 50 Kgs (Minimum)

Endurance Test.

(i) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (Long jump)

(ii) Running 1.6 Km Run in Seven (07) minutes.

Additional Tests for Firemen Category Only

(i) Carrying a man (Fireman lift) of 63.5 Kg to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds.

(ii) Climbing three meters vertical rope using hands and feet

How to Apply: Candidates will forward application properly sealed, in an envelope to “COMMANDING OFFICER 5 MTN DIV ORDNANCE UNIT C/O 99 APO”, through ordinary post/ Registered post/ Speed post. Application in person will not be accepted. Candidates are requested to superscribe the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________” on the top of envelope while sending the application form.

The photocopy of the following Documents/ Certificates to be attached alongwith application duly self attested:-

(a) Two passport size photographs duly self attested, one on right corner of application and one on Acknowledgement Card.

(b) Attested copies of following certificates will also be submitted with application:-

(i) Education qualification certificate

(ii) Date of Birth certificate.

(iii) Caste wherever applicable.

(iv) Discharge certificate for Ex-servicemen or NOC from the competent auth for service defence personnel who are completing the prescribed period of Army service within a year from the last date for receiving application.

(c) Self addressed envelope affixing postal stamp of Rs. 25/-.

Note: – Central Government civilian employees must furnish “No Objection Certificate” from their employer/ office at the time of the interview else their candidature will be cancelled.
