Eligibility, Qualification, and Age Limit
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- At least 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.
- Minimum 60% overall marks in any of the following qualifications:
- MSc / BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent fields.

Selection Process
The selection process includes:
1. Shortlisting of Applications
- Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
- BE/B.Tech: Marks up to the 5th semester.
- Postgraduate (MSc/M.Tech/MCA): Marks up to the pre-final year or all semesters.
2. SSB Interview
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/SMS.
- Includes psychological tests, group tasks, and individual tasks.
3. Medical Examination
- Candidates recommended by SSB must undergo a medical examination.
4. Final Merit List
- Prepared based on SSB performance and medical fitness.
Training and Tenure
Training
- Selected candidates will undergo six weeks of Naval Orientation Course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala.
- Followed by professional training at naval establishments.
Tenure of Commission
- Initial tenure: 10 years.
- Extendable: Up to a maximum of 14 years based on service requirements and performance.
