Teaching Positions Available:

1. PGT-Political Science

• Qualifications:
  • Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT or Master’s Degree in Political Science from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
  • Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English mediums.

2. TGT-English, Assamese, Sanskrit, Science

• Qualifications:
  • Four years’ Integrated Degree Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
  • Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English mediums.
  • Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-II) conducted by CBSE.

3. Primary Teacher (PRT)

• Qualifications:
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent.
  • Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-I) conducted by the Govt. of India.
  • Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English medium.

Non-Teaching Positions Available:

1. Basketball Coach

• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or equivalent with expertise in Basketball.
  • Senior National participation in Basketball/Open Nationals in Basketball.

2. Yoga Instructor

• Qualifications:
  • Graduation in any subject from a Recognized University with one year Training in Yoga from a Recognized Institution.

3. Doctor

• Qualifications:
  • Minimum MBBS, Registered with MCI/State Medical Council.

4. Nurse

• Qualifications:
  • Diploma holder in Nursing recognized by the Government.

5. Art & Craft Instructor

• Qualifications:
  • Five years recognized diploma in Drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art or Equivalent recognized degree.
  • Working Knowledge in Hindi & English.

6. Counsellor

• Qualifications:
  • BA/B.Sc. in Psychology with a certificate or Diploma in counseling.

7. Special Educator

• Qualifications:
  • Graduate with B.Ed. (special education) or equivalent approved by RCI.

8. Computer Instructor (Primary & Secondary)

• Qualifications:
  • B.E./B.Tech./B.C.A./M.C.A./M.Sc. in Computer Science or related field.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Computer application or equivalent.

Selection Procedure:

A walk-in-interview will be conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya NFR Maligaon, Assam, on 12th and 13th February 2024, starting at 8:30 a.m.
