1. Soldier General Duty

Qualification: 10th class pass from a recognized Board.

2. Clerk (Hav)

Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board/ University or equivalent.

Age limit: 18 to 40 yrs
3. Personal Assistant (WO) 
No. of posts: 01
Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board/University or equivalent.
Skill Test Norms on Computer:
(i) Dictation. 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
(ii) Transcription Time. 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer

4. Radio Mechanic (WO)

5. Armourer (Rfn)

Qualification: 10th class pass from a recognised Board.

Qualification: 101h pass and possess Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in grade,

Pay Scale: Pay scale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.
Eligibility for All posts: Only one Next of Kins (NOKs)/dependents of ASSAM RIFLES personnel who were KILLED IN ACTION, DIED WHILE IN SERVICE, DISCHARGED FROM SERVICE ON MEDICAL GROUNDS AND MISSING WHILE ON SERVICE ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT.

Selection Process: Candidates have to participate in Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test (Skill Test) & Written Test.
Physical Efficiency Test: 
(a) For Male Candidates- 05 Km run to qualify within 24 minutes.
(b) For Female Candidates- 1.6 Km run to qualify within 8.30 minutes.
