Telahi ICDS Recruitment 2026: The Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Telahi ICDS Project, Lakhimpur, has released an official advertisement (No. CDPO(Tel)Engagement/49/2023-24/226) dated 05-01-2026. The department is inviting applications from eligible and experienced Anganwadi Helpers (AWH) for promotion/upgradation to the post of Anganwadi Worker (AWW).

This recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies in specific Anganwadi Centres under the Telahi ICDS Project. Eligible candidates who have served as Anganwadi Helpers for a minimum of 10 years can submit their applications in the prescribed standard format before 16th January 2026.

Vacancy Details

The applications are invited for the upgradation of Anganwadi Helpers to Workers for the following specific centers:

1. Hokachapori Anganwadi Centre (Location: Hokachapori Baaz Gaon)
2. Gosaihat Balijan Anganwadi Centre (Location: Aazarbari Gosaihat Baaz Gaon)

Eligibility Criteria for Upgradation

Candidates must strictly fulfill the following eligibility conditions to apply for the promotion:

1. Residency

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of the local area where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
• Proof Required: Certificate from Gaon Bura/Ward Member/President/Secretary/Panchayat President regarding residency.

2. Experience

• The candidate must be an existing Anganwadi Helper with a minimum of 10 (Ten) years of continuous service.

3. Educational Qualification

• The candidate must have passed Class 9 (Nine) from a school recognized by the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA).
• Proof: Class 9 Pass Certificate issued by the Headmaster/Principal of the concerned school.

4. Age Limit

• The candidate must be under 50 years of age as of 01-01-2026.

5. Other Requirements

• The candidate must be dedicated to the welfare of mothers and children.
• She must be involved in community service and have a good reputation.
• Only voluntary candidates willing to serve the community should apply.

How to Apply for Telahi ICDS Recruitment 2026?

The application process is Offline. Interested Anganwadi Helpers who meet the criteria must follow these steps:

1. Collect Application Form: Candidates can collect the prescribed Standard Application Form directly from the Office of the CDPO, Telahi ICDS Project, Lakhimpur.
2. Fill the Form: Fill in all required details carefully.
3. Attach Documents: Attach self-attested photocopies of all necessary documents (Age proof, Education, Experience, Residency, etc.).
4. Paste Photograph: Affix one recent passport-size photograph on the application form.
5. Submission: Submit the complete application form along with documents to the CDPO Office, Telahi during office hours.

Note: Incomplete applications or applications submitted without the required documents/photographs will be summarily rejected.
