Introduction to Tezpur University Assam

Established in 1994 by an Act of Parliament, Tezpur University Assam stands as a beacon of educational advancement. The university’s mission is to provide interdisciplinary courses aligned with employment opportunities, catering to the local and regional aspirations of Assam. Additionally, it aims to foster research in areas vital to the region’s development and emerging domains in Science and Technology. Initially housed in Darrang College and later in Tezpur Law College premises, the university has now found its permanent residence.

Eligibility Criteria: As per UGC norms

Emoluments: Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, with a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month. No other allowances are admissible.

Selection Procedure:

Walk-in-interviews will be conducted on 15th February 2024 and 16th February 2024, starting from 10 AM onwards at Tezpur University.
