Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of Posts: 1

Essential Qualification:

• A consistently good academic career with a first-class Master’s degree in Physics, preferably with specialization in Condensed Matter Physics, from a recognized University.
• Candidates must have qualified UGC-CSIR NET/GATE or similar examinations.

Age Limit:

• Candidates should not exceed 28 years of age on the last date of receipt of the application.
• The upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India rules.

Fellowship:

• Rs. 31,000/- per month plus 8% HRA for the 1st and 2nd years.
• Rs. 35,000/- per month plus 8% HRA for the 3rd year (SRF) as per rules.

• The subject of the email should be “Application for JRF.”

Selection Process:

• Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated via email to appear before a selection committee on a date to be notified later.
• Candidates should appear before the interview board with all original and self-attested photocopies of relevant testimonials on the interview date at the Department of Physics in Tezpur University.
