About Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati
The Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati, is a Government of India initiative, established to fulfill the tooling and training needs of industries in the North Eastern Region. The Assam State Government has provided the land and initial building for the Tool Room. Registered as a Government of India Society on 24th February 2000, TRTC is located at Amingaon Industrial Area, North Guwahati Road, Guwahati – 781031. The campus includes an Administrative Block, Training Block, Modern Workshop, Knowledge Centre, Staff Quarters, and Hostel.

- Educational Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce with a minimum 6 months certificate course in Computer Application.
