Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:

• M.Tech/MSc. Tech/Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Exploration Geophysics
• M.Tech in Petroleum Geology or equivalent degrees in Geophysics as per UGC norms

Candidates must have either of the following:

• NET (National Eligibility Test) / GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) / SET (State Eligibility Test) / SLET (State Level Eligibility Test)
• Ph.D. in the relevant field

Specializations for the Posts:

1. Post No. 1: Expertise in Inversion, Gravity-Magnetic methods, Geophysical Signal Theory, Electrical and Electromagnetic Methods, MT and GPR Method.
2. Post No. 2: Proficiency in Earth System Science, Remote Sensing & its applications, Well logging and its geophysical applications, Sequence Stratigraphy and Basin Analysis.
3. Post No. 3: Knowledge of Seismology, Seismic Methods of Geophysical Exploration, and Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) in Geophysics.

Salary: Monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 25,000/-

Selection Procedure:

A walk-in-interview is scheduled for 7th September 2023 at 11:00 a.m. This interview will take place in the Bhojraj Seth Conference Hall of the Vice Chancellor’s Office at Dibrugarh University, Assam.
