Gauhati Commerce College Recruitment 2023: Qualification Requirements

Do you have the expertise and enthusiasm to inspire the next generation? To be considered for these coveted positions, applicants should meet the following criteria:

1. Attain a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade on a point scale) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject. Successful completion of NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR is mandatory.
2. Holders of a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum standards and procedures for award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2009 are exempt from the NET/SLET/SET requirement. SC/ST/PWD candidates may enjoy a 5% marks relaxation. Additionally, a 5% marks relaxation is applicable to Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19/09/1991.
3. Possession of a PRC certificate and proficiency in the local language are prerequisites for consideration.
4. For the Assistant Professor role in Mathematics, candidates must have Statistics as a subject at the Degree level.
5. Eligibility factors such as M. Phil/Ph.D/ Seminar Papers/ Publications can be acquired and submitted up until the interview date but not beyond.

Age Requirement: As per the rules of the Government of Assam.
