Handloom & Textiles Assam Appointment Letter 2026: The Directorate of Handloom & Textiles, Assam, has released an official notification (No: DHTE.201/2016/Pt-1/194) regarding the distribution of appointment letters for candidates selected through the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC).

This update is vital for candidates who successfully cleared the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) for Grade-III and Grade-IV posts and attended the Document Verification held on 10th & 27th November 2025 at Vastra Bhawan, Guwahati.

Selected candidates are requested to collect their appointment letters physically from the designated venues starting 9th January 2026. The letters will also be available for download on the official website later in the evening.

Appointment Letter Collection Schedule (Physical Venue)

The Directorate has organized a ceremonial distribution of appointment letters. Candidates must report to the specific venue assigned to their post category on the scheduled date.

1. For Grade IV Candidates

• Date: 09th January 2026
• Reporting Time: 09:30 AM
• Venue: Jyoti Bishnu Antarjatik Kala Mandir, Khanapara, Guwahati-22.

2. For Grade III Candidates

• Date: 10th January 2026
• Reporting Time: 09:30 AM
• Venue: Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah Sports Complex, Sarusajai, Lakhara, Guwahati-40.

3. For Grade III & IV (Tea Tribes Community Reservation)

• Date: 11th January 2026
• Time & Venue: To be intimated in due course.

How to Download Appointment Letter Online?

Candidates can also download soft copies of their appointment letters from the official departmental websites. The links will be activated after the physical distribution events on the respective days.

• Grade-IV: From 9:00 PM on 09.01.2026.
• Grade-III: From 9:00 PM on 10.01.2026.

2. Locate the “Download Appointment Letter” section.
3. Enter your Roll Number.
4. Download and print the PDF.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Mandatory Document: Candidates MUST carry their ADRE Admit Card to the venue to collect the appointment letter.
• Entry Rule: Only the successful candidates will be allowed to enter the venue premises. Guardians/Parents must wait outside.
• Verification: This notice applies to those who have already completed their document verification at the Directorate.
