IIT JAM 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are interested in appearing for IIT JAM 2027 should fulfil the required educational qualification and other eligibility requirements.

IIT JAM Educational Qualification

Candidates who have either completed their undergraduate degree or will be appearing in the final examination of their qualifying degree in 2027 are eligible to appear in JAM 2027.

Candidates who qualify in JAM 2027 must fulfil the Eligibility Requirements (ERs) prescribed for admission to IITs.

Age Limit for IIT JAM 2027

There is no age restriction to apply for IIT JAM 2027.

Physical Fitness

At the time of admission, all admitted candidates will have to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed form.

The admitted candidates may also have to undergo a Physical Fitness Test by a medical board constituted by the admitting institute. Admission is liable to be cancelled if a candidate is found physically unfit to pursue their chosen course of study.
