Educational Qualification:
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements (ERs) for admission into IITs:

• Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree or be in the final year of their undergraduate program. They need to provide proof of meeting the required qualifications as specified by the admitting institute.
• Candidates promoted without a marksheet must provide a certificate listing the subjects studied in that semester/year, duly signed by the Head of the Institute.
• Foreign nationals holding an Indian degree are eligible to apply, subject to the policies of the admitting institute.

It is the candidate’s responsibility to demonstrate that they meet the minimum educational qualifications (MEQs) and eligibility requirements (ERs) for admission.

Physical Fitness:
At the time of admission, candidates must submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format. Candidates may also have to undergo a physical fitness test conducted by a medical board constituted by the admitting institute. Admission may be canceled if a candidate is found physically unfit to pursue their chosen course of study.
