The Indian Army is conducting a Recruitment Rally for male candidates at Dikki Bandi Stadium, Tura for all the eleven Districts of Meghalaya from 2nd to 8th April, 2017 from 5:00 AM onwards. The recruitment is for the posts of Soldier General Duty, Tradesman, Soldier Technical and Soldier Clerk category.

For Soldier General Duty and Tradesman, the recruitment is scheduled to be held on 2nd April, 2017 for the Districts of East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, South West Khasi Hills, West Jaintia Hills and East Jaintia Hills, 3rd April, 2017 for the Districts of South Garo Hills, East Garo Hills and Ri Bhoi and 4th April, 2017 West Garo Hills, North Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills District.

Documentation and Medical examination of the selected candidates will be from 5th to 8th April, 2017 and the Written Test for all the selected candidates will be confirmed by issuing Admit Cards to candidates at the rally site.

Age limit: Candidates should be between 17 ½ and 21 years of age for Soldier General Duty and 17 ½ and 23 years for other categories.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Documentation, written test and Medical examination. The candidates participating in the rally will have to pass 1.6 km run, various physical tests and medical examination.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can attend for recruitment rally from 02 to 04-04-2017 from 05.00 AM.Online Registration is compulsory for the applicants to participate in the rally.

Procedure for Filling of Application Online:

Step 1 Open www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

Step 2 Already registered then login (using user ID and password) otherwise Register yourself.

Step 3 Fill data as required. Then click on Check Eligibility.

Step 4 Check  the  category  you want  to apply.  If  the Apply Button  is  green  then click on it.

Step 5 Fill  all  details  and  at  the  end  of every page press Save and Continue.

Step 6 After filling all data press on Save and Submit. Once  your  application  is  accepted  the website will  generate  and  display  your Roll No. Note it down for future reference.

Step 7 Candidate will  login  again  10-15 days  prior  to  rally  for  Admit  Card. Candidates are advised to bring their admit card  alongwith  a  photocopy.  No candidates wil be permitted to participated in Rally without this admit card.
