JEE Main, NEET 2020: New Dates To Be Announced On May 5: The Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD) will announce the dates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examination (NEET) on May 5, 2020, ministry sources confirmed. Entrance tests were delayed until the end of May due to a lockdown.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD) is going to announce the new date of the Entrance Examination (NEET) 2020 with the head of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Qualification on May 5, according to various media reports.
The JEE Maine conducts admissions to engineering colleges across the country, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admissions to MBBS courses from various medical colleges. The tests were scheduled to take place in April-May but were postponed due to a nationwide lockdown to spread COVID-19.

The removal of image discrepancy process of JEE Main, NEET has been started. The candidates will get the opportunity to change their pictures uploaded. The candidates can make changes through the NTA’s JEE Main, NEET wesbites- jeemain.nta.nic.in, ntaneet.nic.in.
The same day, on May 5, Union Minister for Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will conduct a webinar and will interact with students.
As per a senior official of HRD Ministry, “The fresh dates will be announced by HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ”Nishank” on May 5. This will put an end to uncertainty for the aspirants. The minister will also interact with students online the same day.” .
The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the exam, will notify the exam dates, after the announcement, on its official website nta.ac.in. Meanwhile, the application form correction window will close today.
