Eligibility Criteria for Moran College Recruitment 2024

1. Assistant Professor

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Minimum 55% marks at the Master’s degree level in the concerned subject (or equivalent grade point scale).
  • NET/SLET/SET is mandatory, unless exempted due to a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations.
  • M.Sc. in Biotechnology candidates are not eligible for Botany positions.
  • A 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates is applicable.
  • Qualifications like M.Phil./Ph.D. can be submitted at the time of the interview.

2. Library Assistant (Grade-III)

• Qualifications:
  • Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce with a recognized university.
  • Must have a Diploma/Certificate course in computer operations of at least three months duration.
  • Working knowledge of Assamese and English typing in MS Word and simple Excel is required.

3. Grade-IV

• Qualifications:
  • Class VIII passed.

Age Limit

• Candidates should be under 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024.
• Relaxations:
  • 5 years for SC/ST candidates
  • 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
  • 10 years for PWD candidates
  • 2 years for Ex-Servicemen.
