Age limit

The age limit for the Survey of India Recruitment 2023 is 18 to 27 years for applicants belonging to the General category. For SC/ST candidates, the age limit is 18 to 32 years, and for Other Backward Classes (OBC), the age limit is 18 to 30 years as of 31-05-2023.

Salary

The selected candidates for Survey of India Recruitment 2023 will be placed in Pay Matrix Level-2 and will receive a salary of Rs. 19900- 63200 along with other allowances as admissible.

Essential Qualification:-

To be eligible for the Survey of India Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

1. Must have passed 10th grade.
2. Should have knowledge of Hindi/English.
3. Must possess a valid driving license for both heavy and light vehicles that is also valid for hilly areas and should not have any adverse entries.
4. Should have a good knowledge of general procedures for daily, weekly, and other types of maintenance of vehicles. The candidate should be able to locate and repair defects in various components of petrol/diesel engines, lighting systems, suspension and steering systems, mechanical transmission systems, and hydraulic brake systems of Motor transport vehicles. Additionally, they should have knowledge of various lubricants and their specific uses.
5. Should have adequate knowledge of the work of a fitter and be well conversant with the duties of a Motor Mechanic.

Other Desirable Qualifications:

1. One year of experience working as a Motor Mechanic in any repair workshop/Garage.
2. Possession of a Certificate/Diploma in the automobile trade from any recognized institution.
