Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 13,900/-

Educational Qualification:

• • A graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university (Professional/Technical Degrees allowed).
  • A degree/diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a UGC-recognized institute or at least five years of experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional/local language of the state.
  • Knowledge of Computer Application. Candidates must possess a minimum 6-month Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency from a recognized institute.

2. Junior Information & Public Relations Officer

Number of posts: 6

Category-wise vacancy:

• UR: 4
• STP: 1
• STH: 1

Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700/-

Educational Qualification:

• • A graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university (Professional/Technical Degrees allowed).
  • A degree/diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a UGC-recognized institute or at least three years of experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional/local language of the state.
  • Knowledge of Computer Application. Candidates must possess a minimum 6-month Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency from a recognized institute.

Other Criteria of APSC Recruitment

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2023.
