Assam: Appointment Of Over 7000 LP, ME Teacher Vacancy On August 27: Himanta Biswa Sarma in a presser on 18th August informed that 7440 posts will be advertised for those who have cleared Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET).

They will be employed within the next 3 to 4 months, informed Sarma, education minister of Assam.

On 27th August, the state government will be hosting a programme at Srimanta Sankaradev Kalakshetra to hand over the appointment letters of the Lower Primary (LP) and Middle English (ME) school teachers who have already cleared the TET exams.

“However, only 300 teachers will be invited as representatives to the program, keeping COVID-19 protocols in minds. The others can check and download their appointment letters from the website,” Sarma added.

Assam: Over 7000 Teachers Posts to be Filled Soon

The Govt. of Assam will begin the appointment process for over 7000 lower primary and upper primary teachers from August 27.

The same was announced by the Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today in a press meet.

On 27th August, the state government will be hosting a programme at Srimanta Sankaradev Kalakshetra to hand over the appointment letters of the Lower Primary (LP) and Middle English (ME) school teachers who have already cleared the TET exams.

“However, only 300 teachers will be invited as representatives to the program, keeping COVID-19 protocols in minds. The others can check and download their appointment letters from the website,” Sarma added.

Minister Sarma also stated that the government will issue the advertisement for the posts of 7,440 high school teachers in the first week of September. They will be employed within the next 3 to 4 months, informed Sarma, education minister of Assam.
