Name of the Post: Contractual Associate Faculty
(Central Academy for State Forest Service(CASFOS), Burnihat has the mandateto train newly recruited State Forest Service(SFS) Officers from various States and conduct in-service training for serving SFS Officers. Applications are invited for one post of Contractual Associate Faculty to be posted at Central Academy for state forest Service, Burnihat as per the term and conditions gave below:-)
Essential Qualifications:-
- Retired Indian Forest Service Officers cr Retired State Forest Service Officers From Forest Department of Central/State Government/Universities/ Autonomous Organization with Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
- Minimum of 20 years of fie d experience in forestry with the aptitude of training in core forestry subjects.
Desirable Qualification:- Officer having experience in Training of Forestry Personnel, Forestry Research and thorough knowledge in Working plan preparation.
Emoluments: The emoluments Shali be as per his last pay drawn (i.e Pay in the Pay Band +Grade Pay) — Pension + DA, as applicable or a consolidated amount of Rs.60,000/- per month, whichever is less.
Nature Of Work:-
- imparting training in the field Of Forestry to SFS/Forest Range Officers as per the course curriculum.
- The Contractual Associate Faculty shall have to plan and liaise with Field Officers for study tours, accompany with the Officer Trainees during their Study Tours and undertake such outdoor activity as per the requirement of the training.
- Any Other works assigned by the Principal of the Academy.
Mode of Selection:
Application received in response to the notification will be scrutinized and would be shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview and document verification with originals. Based on qualification, experience, and outcome of personal interview, the candidate would be selected after requisite approval from the Director of Forest Education.
General terms and conditions:
(a) The designation of the posts would be ‘Contractual Associate Faculty”.
(b) The Contractual Associate Faculty shall initially be engaged on a contract for six months which may be further extended subject to satisfactory performance and requirement, However, he/she shall be discontinued as and when regular faculty joins in the Academy.
(c) The Contractual Associate Faculty shall not be allowed any medical reimbursement. He/She will continue to avail medical facilities admissible to retired Government Officers (if applicable)
(d) During the contract period of six months, he/she will ‘be allowed to avail 04 days of casual leave.
(e) Maintenance of Professional Ethics: During the term of engagement and thereafter the Contractual Associate Faculty shall maintain strictly confidentially of the matters pertaining to the Academy.
(f) The ContractualAssociate Faculty shall be given clues like taking lectures, organizing study tours and accompanying officer trainees on tours, administrative works in the Academy and Academic wor.ks like preparation of study materials, course plan presentation, etc. He/She can be assigned in addition to the specific task for which appointed, any other works assigned by the Principal of the Academy.
