Name of course: 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)

Academic Session: 2020-22

Educational Qualification:

• Class XII passed or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards/ Councils with 50% marks with 5% relaxation for ST/SC/OBC/PWD.
• Candidates waiting for Class XII Results may also apply provided they produce their provisional/original documents at the time of counseling.
• There will be block wise allocation of seats to facilitate the availability of trained teachers locally in the respective blocks.

Age limit for DERT Meghalaya D.El.Ed Course :

The Minimum Age limit is 18 years and maximum age is 27 years as on 01.01.2020 relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD.

Reservation Policy for Meghalaya D.El.Ed Admission 2020

The reservation policy for Meghalaya D.El.Ed (DIET) Admission 2020 is as follows:

a) As per Meghalaya Government Reservation Policy for different communities of the state.
b) 5% of the seat will be reserved for the persons with disabilities.
