Age limit: Age of the candidate should not be more than 43 years as on 01.01.2017. 5 (five) year relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100-GP 6000/-

Place of Posting : Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Ardasha Mahavidyalaya at Eraligool, Dist. Karimganj.

Educational qualification:

1) Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Masters Degree Level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

2) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CISR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET.

3) Not withstanding anything contained in sub clauses (i) and (ii) to the clause 4.4.1 candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards & Procedure for Award of Ph. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment of Asstt. Professor or equivalent positions in University/ College/ Institutions.

4) A relaxation of 5% may provided at the Graduate or Master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Differently able categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to the teaching position. The eligibility Marks of 55% marks and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace marks procedure.

5) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D Degree holders who have obtained their Master Degree prior to September 19, 1991.

Note: Candidate must be Indian Citizen having proficiency in local language. Candidates serving elsewhere must apply with an NOC from the employer. If no NOC from present employer submitted, application is liable to be rejected NOC can be produced on the date of interview. The eligibility of age education qualification except Ph.D and M.Phil will be reckoned with reference to the last date of application i.e. the candidate must acquire educational qualification on the last date of applications Ph.D/ M.Phil, papers publications/ NOC/ Teaching Exp. Certificates can be submitted on the date of interview.

Application Fee : Rs. 300.00 to be deposited in the form of Demand Draft in the name of Deputy Commissioner, Karimganj District.

Application in other format will not be accepted. Application to be submitted to the office of the Deputy commissioner, (Dev. Branch) Karimganj on or before 24.5.2017.
