Admission into the 1st year M.B.B.S. /B.D.S. course in the Medical Colleges of Assam & Regional Dental College, Guwahati for the session 2017

The following category wise and college wise list of candidates who appeared in the counseling  held  from  17th July  to  23rd July,  2017 and  selected  by  the  Selection  Board  are  hereby allowed for provisional admission into the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. courses in the Medical Colleges of Assam & Regional Dental College, Guwahati for the session, 2017.

The candidates are hereby directed to report personally for admission to the Principal  of the respective Colleges along with their all original testimonials, allotment letter given at the time of Counseling etc. on 30th and 31st July, 2017 with the following conditions. If the candidates fail to report within the  stipulated time, their allotted seat shall be forfeited.

1. Candidates are to deposit their original Admit Cards, Marks Sheets, Pass Certificates of HSLC and HSSLC or Equivalent examination and caste certificate to the Principal of the respective Colleges at the time of admission.

2. The admission of the candidates are subjected to the satisfactory Medical fitness certified by the Medical Board constituted by the respective Principal of the Colleges.

3. The WITH-HELD candidates of the following list shall be allowed for admission, only after approval by the Govt, on verification of their documents etc.

4. If the original documents submitted by candidates are found to be false or fabricated then their selection shall be cancelled and Criminal proceedings shall be taken against such candidates for submission of wrong documents information etc.

5. The candidates who were provisionally selected for admission in to MBBS/BDS courses in the Medical Colleges of Assam and Regional Dental College, Guwahati against Interim orders of Hon:ble Gauhati High Court, Guwahati, their admission process will be kept in abeyance till the final verdict of Hon’ble Gauhati High Court, Guwahati.

6. All the candidates shall have to enter in to an agreement as per the admission rule in prescribed format which will be available in this directorate website www.dmeassam gov.in as Schedule-II-A Schedule-II-B. Candidates will have to submit the agreement within 15 days from the date of their admission.

7. College uniform is compulsory for all the students. Respective college authorities shall prescribe necessary dress code in due course of time.

8. Admission fees is approximately Rs.30,000 –

9. Classes will be started from 1August 2017.
